Recipe-based inventory that knows what every plate costs

Recipes for every variant and add-on, a stock ledger that cannot drift, depletion on payment, and cost per plate from real purchase prices.

Give each variant a recipe — 18 g of beans, 180 ml of milk, a cup and a lid — and stock moves on its own as bills are paid. Add-ons have recipes too: an extra shot adds beans, and oat milk replaces the milk instead of adding to it.

Stock on hand is the sum of an append-only ledger of purchases, sales, wastage and adjustments, so there is no balance to drift. Stock is used when a bill is paid, not when it is opened, so an abandoned order never eats inventory.

How it works

  1. 01

    Cost per plate

Recipe quantities times the latest purchase cost give the cost of every variant, next to its price at each branch.

  2. 02

    Variance you can act on

Compare what recipes say should have been used with what was actually counted, by ingredient and branch.

  3. 03

    Reorder levels

Each ingredient has a reorder level, so running low shows up before service, not during it.

  4. 04

    Paid twice, used once

Depletion is tied to the bill, so a replayed payment can never take stock out twice.

Questions about stock & recipes

When does EasyTable reduce stock?
When a bill is paid. Voiding or refunding reverses it, and an unpaid order uses nothing.
Can an add-on replace an ingredient rather than add one?
Yes. An add-on recipe row can replace an ingredient — oat milk replacing milk — instead of adding to it.
